Skulptura (2019-2021) is an eclectic collection of photographs which together reflect on the juxtaposition of photograph and sculpture.
The myriad of techniques – from shapes made from actual clay to 3D computer renderings and 2D digital manipulations – intend to invoke a desire for spatial experience; for the ability to touch and feel. Yet the impossibility of this - inherent in the medium of photography - gives the images their sometimes uncomfortable, even oppressive charge.
