Emblemata Amatoria
In 2015 I was invited to create an exhibition in Rijksmuseum Muiderslot in relation to the Emblemata Amatoria︎︎︎, emblemata texts by writer P.C. Hooft.
In the chapel of the castle I created an installation of six photographs illustrating different emblemata by means of seventies-inspired tabletop photography of anatomical models of skeletons of new-born children.
A colorful display of vanitas inspired vaudeville, frozen in time.
