The Ephemera Show was created in collaboration with Ruth van Beek, mixing parts of our cut-out imagery archives and personal work. The Ephemera series (2011) consists of close-up shots of paper, aluminium foil and plastic wrapping material. The aesthetics of these images framed with a 2 cm thick perspex layering, mimic the photographical conventions of depicting jewels, gems and minerals.
